Increasing electricity prices have made it attractive to consider energy optimisations that slow down the electricity meter and result in lower electricity costs. It’s a trend being seen at Vibocold, which supplies temperature-regulating solutions for cooling, freezing and heating for hotels, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, shops and food producers.
“Simply fitting lids or doors to an open piece of furniture can reduce electricity consumption by up to 32%,” says Jonas Rennum Madsen, technical product manager at Vibocold.
The exact electricity saving is calculated by Vibocold on the basis of a detailed discussion with the customer about their existing products and the possibilities which exist for buying new and up-to-date products or optimising their current products.
“If, for example, you have 10-year-old convenience coolers in your store, you will soon reap the benefits by replacing them with new fridges, and which will pay for themselves in the space of a few years. So it’s a question of taking a close look at the solutions on offer, and here Vibocold is ready with advice and guidance for customers,” says John Karlsen, team manager, Procurement and Product Management.
With the industry’s biggest product programme, Vibocold cooperates with suppliers all over the world, and is therefore able to advise customers large and small on finding the right solution.
